Who's the Mexican?

I though some of you might find this amusing. This is where the last hundred visitors to my blog came from. This just goes to show, how little privacy there is on the internet. From the locations, I can usually figure out exactly who was on the blog when. There is me in Cape Town, Scott in Portland, Fabien in San Francisco, my parents in Rio, Fred in Australia and Dima in Moscow. I don't know who the heck those 2 dots in the mid-East of the States is, nor Brasilia or Mexico (?). The European part is alot more confusing. Still, I can guess most of them. The only one that puzzles me a bit is the login from Oslo. The rest are easy to guess (although many of the ones in the UK and Germany are too close to differentiate).

Wouldn't it be brilliant if these blogs cooperated with Google Earth so you could actually zoom in on the estimated postal address for each visitor?

How many fingers do you see Maurice?

Four fingers Maurice, FOUR FOUR!
(or was it three?)

By the way, I don't think that's Mexico. Looks more like Costa RIca to me...

You're right, it is Costa Rica. If you click on the title of this blog entry you get to the original map.

I thought the Visitor Tracking (OS, Browser Share) was interesting also... Linux user? It looks like I'm one of the few OSX users... people still use Netscape? You can also look at them by Monitor resolution and color depth but I can't figure out why you would want to.

You actually also have a list of places on the site. so you know exactly where they are from. I am sometimes appearing as from Brasilia. Must be one of my connections is going via that, perhaps from work.

Of course everything is OK. The only thing i can't stand is a hot weather during all the day. Hope that in Your place weather is quite nice.

Believe it or not, it is actually quite cold here (below 10 degrees some days). It would be OK, if South Africans would build houses that are properly insulated.

I think the only solution for you is to spend the summer drinking cold beer in street cafes. :-)

Below 10 degrees?, you are a lucky guy, cause you are in paradise:-)). Thanks for your solution. Of course I like to drink beer, but I am not an alcoholic. In the same time following your advice I will become a hard-core alcoholic in a few months.:-)))
